The SPCA of Tompkins County offers several programs for spaying and neutering cats and dogs.You may print a spay/neuter application and mail it or drop it off; appointments are required.

Sweetie

"Hello Tompkins County SPCA! I don't know if you remember me, but my name was Sweetie (103C) back in 2005 when I was there. My name is now Pippin Sweetie, which I rather like. I was a special kitty; painfully shy and in need of a quiet, happy home. One of your wonderful volunteers recommended me to my mommy who adopted me in February 2006. I have since blossomed into such a sweet, more outgoing boy. I thought you would want to see a recent photo of me enjoying a nap. Thank you for all of the great work that you do!"

Our Mission

The mission of the SPCA of Tompkins County is to protect companion animals. We are a no-kill shelter dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and overpopulation. We promote responsible pet stewardship by providing education, counseling and training to nurture and enhance the human-animal bond.

The SPCA of Tompkins County is a registered 501(c)(3). Our tax id number is 15-0624378.
